Meet the 716 Orthopaedics and Spine Surgery Team

R. Warren Rogers, DO

Fellowship Trained, Board Certified Spine Surgeon

Dr. Rogers is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon that is Fellowship Trained in Spine Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. After completing his Orthopedic Surgery Residency, he underwent Spine Surgery Fellowship Training at the prestigious Texas Back Institute in Plano, Texas.

In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Rogers has also received a Master of Science in Medical Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy and Biology.

Dr. Rogers specializes in the treatment of the cervical spine and lumbar spine and believes in attempting conservative treatment prior to proceeding with surgery. He performs minimally invasive spinal decompression and microdiscectomy surgeries, along with minimally invasive lumbar fusion surgeries with multiple approaches, based on the patient’s pathology and in order to assist in reducing hospital stay and minimizing recovery time. Additionally, he performs anterior and posterior cervical spine surgery, along with cervical disc replacement as an alternative to fusion if indicated. Furthermore, he does other complex and revision cervical and lumbar spine surgeries. Dr. Rogers also treats several other orthopedic disorders and performs several different procedures for pathology of the knees, shoulders, and hips.

A native of Western New York, he is also a United States Military Veteran who proudly served our country for over eleven years on active duty service. He is married, a father of four with two grandchildren.

Dr. Rogers feels that every patient should be treated the same way he would want his family or himself treated.

Craig Roberto, DO

Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and AOBOS Specialty Board-Certified Sports Medicine Specialist

Dr. Roberto is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and
AOBOS specialty Board-Certified Sports Medicine specialist. He is Fellowship-trained in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, hip, and knee.

In addition, Dr. Roberto provides multi-faceted treatment
options for osteoarthritis of the shoulders and knees,  including joint replacement.

Dr. Roberto offers a spectrum of treatment options, both nonsurgical and surgical, to tailor to patients’ needs.

Experience
Previously Dr. Roberto worked as a team physician within the Boston Red Sox organization, focusing on the AAA Pawtucket Red Sox. He has also covered collegiate and high school sports.

Dr. Roberto is a graduate of the New York College of
Osteopathic Medicine. He subsequently completed his
orthopaedic residency training in New York and Long Island. Dr. Roberto went on to complete his orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at the University of Massachusetts.

Amy Albert, MS, RPA-C

Physician Assistant

Amy was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. She is passionate about patient education and has a natural ability to help patients feel at ease. Amy graduated from Daemen College with a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences, with a minor in Biology, in 2004.

Over the course of her career as a Physician Assistant, she has worked in multiple surgical and non-surgical specialties. Amy has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to her position at Sherban Orthopaedics and Spine Surgery and then 716 Orthopaedics and Spine Surgery, which began in 2018. Amy explains, “I enjoy establishing relationships with my patients in order to provide them with the best care possible to help alleviate their mental and physical pain.” She keeps busy seeing patients in the office for presurgical visits, assisting in surgical procedures, and caring for patients post-operatively, inpatient and outpatient.

Amy is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Western New York Physician Assistant Association, and New York State Society for Physician Assistants. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, biking, painting, cooking, and spending time with her family and pets. She is very excited to be part of 716 Orthopaedics and Spine Surgery and proud to work with this fantastic team of providers and support staff.
